Hostpoint rolls out e-commerce cloud service platform

Switzerland-based web hosting provider Hostpoint has launched a cloud service platform to provide ePages online shops.The three eShop versions can be operated in four languages depending on the version and can manage up to 100 currencies. The eShops also provide customers with the ability of making payments online via PayPal and Saferpay.

Kofax expands software deal with global banking group

US provider of capture driven process automation services Kofax has expanded its agreement with a global banking group whose identity has not been released so far.Under the terms of the agreement, the global banking group is set to extend its use of Kofax software to its Brazilian subsidiary. The value of the contract to Kofax is in excess of USD 2.6 million.

Dwolla Readies Proximity Payments Tool, Proxi

Dwolla has a announced a new feature in their mobile money app called ‘Proxi’ that “allows Dwolla users to exchange funds with people and merchants in their proximity without the need for cash, cards or near field communication (NFC) technology.” TechCrunch has a nice overview.
