HTC, LG, Motorola Mobility, RIM, Samsung Mobile, Sony Ericsson and DeviceFidelity agree to implement Isis NFC standards

The announcement was made by Isis, the joint venture between operators AT&T Mobility, T-Mobile USA and Verizon Wireless. According to their representatives, HTC, LG, Motorola Mobility, RIM, Samsung Mobile and Sony Ericsson are in agreement to introduce NFC-enabled mobile devices which are set to be in conformity with the Isis NFC and technology standards.

Visa Europe has rolled out Visa Mobile Person-to-Person payments and Visa Alerts, two new services looking to allow consumers to manage their money and make payments using their mobile phones.

The launch of the new offerings was announced by Visa Europe Chief Executive Peter Ayliffe in his keynote speech at the EFMA conference in Paris.
