Western Union Launches Business Payments Wallet

Western Union has announced the launch of its new business payments wallet for clients of Western Union Business Solutions in the United States and Canada. “The technology allows clients using Business Solutions’ Online FX platform to add and hold funds on balance for future use and enables them to make convenient email payments to international recipients.”

Heartland Payment Systems launches m-payment acceptance service for restaurant owners and managers

US-based payments processor Heartland Payment Systems has launched a mobile payment acceptance service for restaurant owners and managers dubbed Mobuyle Restaurant.

The Mobuyle Restaurant service enables restaurant staff to accept credit, debit and gift card payments with Android smartphones and other mobile devices. Additionally, the service enables food runners/servers as well as delivery drivers to accept payments on the spot.

MasterCard launches PayPass Wallet Services offering for banks, merchants and partners

MasterCard has launched a platform and suite of services for banks, merchants and partners dubbed PayPass Wallet Services.

The PayPass Wallet Services includes the PayPass Acceptance Network (PayPass Online and PayPass Contactless), the PayPass Wallet and the PayPass API.

The PayPass Acceptance Network (PayPass Online and PayPass Contactless) enables merchants to accept electronic payments across channels, whether purchases are made in stores at the point of sale with Near Field Communication (NFC) technology or online using computers, tablets or smartphones.
