European low cost carrier Volotea choses DataCash for international payment processing

European low cost carrier Volotea has selected global payment services provider DataCash to manage its international payment processing.

Via DataCash, customers from any geographical location will be able to book flights to any of Volotea’s 52 European destinations.

DataCash has deployed its Global Payments Gateway which will, initially, provide Volotea with multi-currency bank card processing and online transaction security technology, 3-D Secure, with more services to follow. The project has spanned six weeks from first contact to official launch.

Russia: Viaplay, CyberSource partner for payment management platform

Viaplay, a subsidiary of Modern Times Group, an international entertainment broadcasting group, has inked a contract with global payment services provider CyberSource to start transacting in Russia using CyberSource’s e-commerce payment management platform.

Under the terms of the deal, CyberSource will connect directly to VisaNet, allowing acquiring banks to use their existing VisaNet connection when adopting CyberSource’s e-commerce services. Viaplay will be able to use its VisaNet processor, UCS, to access CyberSource’s payment services.

MasterCard to Foster Industry Collaboration on EMV Migration

It’s our goal to bring the industry together in an objective forum. This will continue to move the U.S. forward and allow all to gain the maximum advantage from the upgrade to EMV.”
